making scents
and lotion bars, and lip balms and mulberry paper packaging!
After experimenting with many blends of the best oils, waxes, butters and essential oils, we have picked our favorites! The lotion bar feels luxurious on the skin. It absorbs quickly, moisturizes, is not sticky and has a subtle hint of citrus and lavender. The lip balm softens and nourishes, feels silky and tastes like honey. I use both everyday and I am hooked. I will never buy chemical filled lotions or lip balms again!
Metal tins make them perfect for traveling!
My tiny nude sketch was inspired by Albrecht Durer's Drawing of The Woman's bath from 1469.
Lotion bars and lip balms will be in my etsy shop tomorrow.
Thanks for looking!

DIY moment
Trying to reduce the toxins in my life by adding all natural foods
and products into my daily routine. I've almost completely eliminated
processed foods from my diet and now I'm sorting out my skin care
products. First, I checked the ingredients in my favorite products on Skin Deep’s cosmetics database
and was shocked to find out how many toxic chemicals are in my
products. So I immediately began searching for better alternatives. I
found many options and diy recipes and decided to make my own.
Some of my favorites
organic
beauty,
handmade
beauty.
Lotion and lip balms are an obsession of mine so I decided to start there.
My first lip balm recipe.
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp beeswax
1 tbsp cocoa butter
1 tbsp honey
Melt all ingredients in a double boiler, pour into small tins, let cool, done!
Fills 6 tins.
I can't believe how easy this is and how amazing the lip balm feels!
My first lotion bar recipe.
5 oz coconut oil
4 oz shea butter
4 oz beeswax
Melt in double boiler, pour into molds, let cool, done!
2 square bars.
I've been using this for a week now and my skin loves it!
Enjoy!

Summer colors
The bather collection. Inspired by faded photos and retro color blocking.
Paintings are gouache on wood panel.
I couldn't resit making a few canvas bags with tiny bather face pins.
Available in my esty shop.
